fic goals for 2022 aka how will i kill myself this year

hello comrades :)

it's time that we talk about the elephant in the room, which means it has come the time for me to put black on white my yearly fic goals for 2022!! isn't that so fun!!

starting off with the largest thing i'll probably work on this year, and then in no particular order:

eragon au [jihan]

oh it's gonna be big!! i have a vague plot in mind, but i have yet to plan it out as i want (or like, i have to plan it out. because she's big. and i can't improvise. and i want all sebongies to be in it, i need to assign roles, it's a complicated mess.)
so far i only know it will feature human prince joshua and elf prince jeonghan. i won't follow eragon's plot, it will just be based in that universe. i make my own moves.

space (can't see the end) [boogyu]

 

you have awaited her, you have asked for her, and she'll come!!! it's a promise, i will end that fic if my life depends on it. i have 10k of it written and all the plot is actually in my mind, very stark. i just need to take some time and put it into words. boogyu my beloveds, i will avenge you.
for context, boo is a space thief and gyu is the space police officer who's supposed to catch him. fun times!!

ask for forgiveness, never permission [woncheol]

probably just 2 people remember this one, but. but!! they. you can find more about them in curse the moon, where seoksoon is the main ship but wonu has a big and important role. little witch wonu living all alone in the woods :(( why is he there? why is he helping people but not letting anyone help him? what is he going to do when fae cheol keeps showing up at his door, battered and bruised? find out in a few months i guess!!
 

the perfect storm [jihancheol]

in which every person has a power, and when other people touch you your powers subside, but when your soulmate touches you they get amplified. jihancheol are just so cute and sweet in here and i love them. josh is emo.
 

witcher au [either gyuhan or gyujihan, still undecided but leaning on the second]

oh this one hehe. i'm gonna base this off the first episode of the witcher series on netflix basically, and gives it a marvellous twist hehehehe i'm so excited for this one. geralt mingyu my beloved <3
 

dark adaptation universe installment n. ? [seokhao]

if you don't know the DALU (dark adapatation literary universe) then can you even call yourself my friend? akldjsalk i'm kidding, of course you can. BUT. this universe is the lovechild of me and allie and we love it and every little character in it sooooooo much, so much!!! and i can't wait to write minghao and junhui's adventure from their pov, and add seokmin to the universe! oh, the found familism in this one.
 

cats [96 line friendship + various ships]

a little secret project that i will be writing with my beloved allie. so pumped for this one as well.

and then, because i'm completely bonkers!!! i will be writing 12 pairings of joshua hong throughout the year, one for each month!! right now i have the january one (soonshua) almost ready - it was a fill for 17hol - and i have also this idea for wonshua:

the cold truth is worth more than a heart pt 2 [wonshua]

basically what the title says. i will be writing the sequel to this murder mystery that i wrote in 2021, and i'm so hyped for it but i can't say more about it because spoilers. so [redacted] joshua hong. await him.

 

i think that's it!! these are the goals. hopefully i don't burn out and i manage to end everything i start, but even if i don't!! i'm super excited to be writing more!!

2021 has been a fic renaissance for me tbh, i wrote so many things in so many styles and i'm excited to dig into more of my potential.
i found writing to be a very good creative outlet for me and i'm so grateful to be able to share everything with my little friends on twt hell.
